Earlier Incomplete Census

A number of national census were taken during the 1800's but the majority of the information was subsequently lost due to administrative action and a fire at the Public Records Office. However some of the information has survived for specific periods and locations held in different forms in various repositories.

There are a variety of other forms of 'Census' for various dates and locations, such as unofficial local parish census taken by Roman Catholic priests.

Our minimum search fee is EURO 60. However given the variety of Census information that exists and various means by which it is held it will be necessary to discuss your specific requirements before setting a fee for your search. Click the 'Order' button above to discuss arranging a search.
